Oshita is the Director, Department of Research and Policy Analysis, Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR), Abuja, Nigeria. He researched and taught Philosophy in different Nigerian Universities between 1987 and 1999, until he joined the IPCR in 2000. Between October 2002 and March 2004 he was at the University of Bradford, United Kingdom, as a Chevening Scholar in Peace and Conflict Studies. He is widely published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented Papers and facilitated Workshops in Africa, Europe and America.
