Summary:
The ninth Internet Governance Forum (IGF) took place in 2014 in Istanbul. More than 2,000 onsite participants from all continents representing governments, intergovernmental organizations, private sector, civil society and the technical community participated. The forum played a key role in facilitating policy debates and identifying emerging issues for discussion on topics such as Net Neutrality; the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) stewardship transition and pressing questions about Human Rights online, among many others. This report contains conclusions and outcomes of more than 100 expert-led discussions, debates and edited transcripts of all the main sessions.
