This study aims to estimate the life cycle in Peru usiAng data from 2007, as part of the project on national transfer accounts. National transfer accounts are a useful tool for monitoring the scope of the demographic dividend through construction of the economic dependency ratio, and they also constitute an additional criterion for establishing the level of importance of the State's decisions to invest in human capital in the medium term. In that regard, an exercise is included that compares, at the regional level, the results corresponding to the economic dependency ratio with those relating to the traditional indicator of the dependency ratio.
