"L'entreprise est-elle toujours, dans l'imaginaire littéraire, cette bouche béante dévorant quotidiennement son lot d'ouvriers et ravalant le prolétariat au statut de "chair à patrons" ? L'idéologie néolibérale tend à la représenter comme le lieu d'épanouissement des individus, une structure où convergent le désir de réalisation de chacun, son bien-être matériel et la prospérité générale. Le roman d'entreprise contemporain, afin de désamorcer ces représentations, cherche à en défamiliariser les évidences et à révéler l'ordinaire de la domination. Éclairant les récentes mutations (linguistiques, managériales, structurelles et idéologiques) des grandes entreprises, il en pointe les conséquences socio-économiques, éthiques et anthropologiques et recourt, pour ce faire, à la capacité heuristique de la forme romanesque. En rupture avec les esthétiques réaliste et naturaliste, il invente des formes neuves propres à réfléchir les enjeux contemporains. Cette étude entend montrer, à travers un corpus panoramique, le mouvement de repolitisation du littéraire initié par le roman d'entreprise. Empruntant aux sciences humaines des outils pour penser les métamorphoses du capitalisme, il offre de nouvelles lignes de lisibilité dans le réel, tout en posant, à nouveaux frais, la question de l'engagement littéraire."--Page 4 of cover.

Is the enterprise still in the literary imagination that gaping mouth that daily devours its share of workers and swallows the proletariat into a status of bosses? Neoliberal ideology tends to represent it as the place of Individuals, as a structure in which everyone's desire for fulfillment, his material well-being and general prosperity converge. The novel of contemporary enterprise, in order to defuse these representations, seeks to defamiliarize the evidences and to reveal the ordinary of the domination. Illuminating the recent (linguistic, managerial, structural and ideological) mutations of large companies, he points out the socio-economic, ethical and anthropological consequences and uses the heuristic capacity of the novel form to do so. Breaking away from realistic and naturalistic aesthetics, he invented new forms to reflect on contemporary issues. This study aims to show, through a panoramic corpus, the movement of repolitisation of the literary initiated by the novel of enterprise.
