- Discusses Aug. 2014 release of the third annual FEMA National Preparedness Report, which provides retrospective analysis of progress towards achieving national preparedness goals of preventing, protecting against, mitigating, responding to, and recovering from threats and hazards that pose the greatest risk, including terrorism. Summarizes completed preparedness policy documents that have been gradually released by FEMA in fulfilment of legal requirements under P.L. 109-295, the Post-Katrina Emergency Reform Act of 2006.
