First published in the Federal orrery, over the initials X.Z. Attributed to Gardiner in the Dictionary of American biography.
The caricatures have been identified as Thomas Edwards, Benjamin Austin, Samuel Howes, Justice Vinal, and Adam Colson.
Part 2 published in Boston in 1798.
Signatures: A-D6 E4 (E4 blank).
