Summary:
Encounter with the Hong Kongese dancer and choreographer Yuri Ng through one of his creation, Boy Story, Girl Story. Trained in Hong Kong, Canada and England, Yuri Ng joined the National Ballet of Canada before returning in 1993 to his homeland, Hong Kong, where he choreographed for various performing companies including Hong Kong Ballet Company, City Contemporary Dance Company, Hong Kong Dance Company, Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, Zuni Icosahedrons, Edward Lam Dance Theatre, Taiwan's Cloud Dance Theatre 2, Singapore Dance Theatre, and Archi-Tanz (Japan). He is currently the artistic director of YURI and company danciNG and the Hong Kong Ballet Group. This documentary draws the portrait of this international artist through one of his work, Boy story, girl story, for which Yuri Ng was awarded the author prize at the sixth Rencontres Chorégraphiques Internationales de Bagnolet in 1998.
