The bookplate is inscribed in ms. to Connie Alderton (probably Constance Olive Alderton, later Herbert, 1902-1964) with the names of the superintendent ("R.H. Paul" -- probably Robert Harold Paul, 1872-1950) and secretary ("F.J. Atkins" -- probably Frederick James Atkins, 1874-1940) stamped in.
