Summary:
Manuscript is used for private or public recitation and prayer in praise of the one thousand names associated with the Hindu goddess Gāyatrī. Presented as a dialogue between Umā and Maheśvara (i.e., Pārvatī and Śiva), suggesting the text's source may be from a Śaiva Purāṇa or a Tantric source such as the Rudrayāmala.
