- Published at London, according to Sabin, Bibl. amer. First issue, having the words "Stamp act" on t.-p. in small capitals, and without Die Mercurii, 11⁰ Martii, 1766, at head of p. 3. At the second reading of the bill to repeal the Stamp act, Mar. 11, 1766, it was passed by the Lords 105 to 71. This protest was prepared by Lord Lyttelton and signed by 33 members of the minority.--NUC pre-1956.
