The Extraordinary case of William Bingley, bookseller : who on the 11th of June 1768 was committed to Newgate upon a writ of attachment of contempt, the 22d day of August following was discharged on finding bail to appear the Michaelmas Term then next ensuing, committed to the King's-Bench prison on the 7th day of November for a supposed contempt, discharged again on giving bail to appear the Hilary Term then next ensuing, committed a second time to the above prison on the 23d day of January 1769 where he has ever since remained, without trial, conviction or sentence.
