- A new interpretation of Ruth Krauss' 1948 story "Bears" in which Maurice Sendak's illustrations add a complex subplot. A boy, portrayed as Max in his wolf suit from "Where the wild things are", chases after his pet dog to retrieve his teddy bear, and encounters all sorts of bears along the way.
