- Record of proceedings against the Bethlehemite father Fray Francisco de San José, issued in Lima, Peru, on 18 January 1782 and signed by Fray Rafael de Belem. Condemned for speaking positively of the recently executed mestizo rebel José Gabriel Tupac-Amaru and for moving between convents without permission, Fray Francisco de San José was sentenced to 15 days of imprisonment and a year of silence in the Monasterio del Carmen in Lima. Folio leaf with minor wear and water damage.
