- Summary:
- Treatise on edicts issued between 1712 and 1716 by the Mexican Inquisition regarding confessions, compiled by a member of the Discalced Carmelite Province of San Alberto in Mexico. Two sections of the treatise are devoted to consultations of Padre fray Antonio de la Anunciacion with the Inquisition about the edicts, although they are dated 1714, after his standard death date of 1713.

- Collation: Paper, 94 leaves; 1-4²⁰ 5¹⁸ (-15, 16, 17, 18); quires 2-5 signed 2-5, upper left first recto; contemporary foliation in ink, upper right recto; after folio 54, the foliation is partially or totally trimmed away and supplied in pencil.
- Layout: Written in 18 long lines; vertical margins marked by folding; chancery quarto format.
- Script: Written in cursive script, with headings in humanistic script, likely by one hand.
- Decoration: Simple penwork on most headings (f. 1r, 8v, 16r, 22v, 47r, 53v, 54v, 61r, 61v, 65r, 70v, 93r, 94r).
- Binding: Contemporary (18th-century) limp parchment, lower cover torn or cut away; remnants of two leather ties on upper cover; spine title in ink, Edictos de la S[ancta] Inqq[uisicion].
