- Called the Five-sections, this is a collection of ancient animal fables intended to give guidance to young princes on relationships (including political and social), as well as to entertain.

- Colophon: iti śrīviṣṇuśarmanākṛte paṃcataṃtrākhyāne nītiśāstre aparīkṣakāritaṃ nāmapaṃcamaṃtaṃtraṃ samāptaṃ // śubhaṃbhavatu // (Part 5, f. 16v).
- Mistakes covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; verse divisions in red throughout; vertical margins marked with red and gold line.
- Each section begins and ends with a painted folio mostly featuring three mandala-like designs surrounded by an ornately painted border.
