Summary:

Three exemplars and three corresponding printed copies of documents issued by the government of Provence, France, and printed by Joseph-Antoine David of Aix-en-Provence. Two of the exemplars, that of "Procès-verbal de l'assemblée de messieurs les procureurs nés et joints du pays de Provence" (1782) and the proclamation of public thanksgiving for the treaty of Versailles (1783), are manuscripts; the exemplar of the proclamation of public thanksgiving for the fall of Yorktown (1783) is a printed copy of the proclamation of public thanksgiving for the birth of the Dauphin Louis-Joseph-Xavier (1781) with ms. emendations. Ms. notes on either exemplar or (proof?) copy record the number of "exemplaires" to be printed (700 for each proclamation and 1100 for "Procès-verbal"), by whom they were ordered and when they were due.
