- Provides an overview of current EPA authorities to collect registration and maintenance fees to support pesticide regulatory program activities. Reviews background on P.L. 108-199, the Pesticide Registration Improvement Act of 2004 (PRIA), which revised EPA pesticide fee authorities. Summarizes key provisions of P.L. 112-177, the Pesticide Registration Improvement Extension Act of 2012, which further revised and reauthorized EPA pesticide fee provisions. Describes pesticide program fee revenues and appropriations, and reviews pesticide registration and reregistration activities since enactment of PRIA.
