Explores current foreign policy issues confronting U.S. efforts to combat human trafficking, interrelationship among existing polices, and historical and current role of Congress in such efforts. Examines foreign country reporting, foreign product blacklisting, international anti-trafficking projects, foreign aid restrictions, conditions on trade preference program beneficiaries, financial sanctions against specially designated individuals, and efforts to prevent U.S. Government participation in trafficking overseas.
