- Examines CPSC role in regulating U.S. imported and exported consumer products. Summarizes selected international obligations that the U.S. has undertaken with respect to the promulgation of standards-related measures, such as mandatory consumer product safety regulations. Reviews H.R. 1910, the Foreign Manufacturers Legal Accountability Act of 2013, to require foreign manufacturers of products imported into the U.S. to establish registered agents in the U.S. who are authorized to accept service of process against such manufacturers.
