Examines Federal agency annual reporting requirements process under the GPRA Modernization Act of 2010 (GPRAMA), which expands upon the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 and requires OMB to set Government-wide goals to align programs from different Federal agencies to work together to reduce overlap waste and abuse, and to seek Congressional views on those goals. Discusses potential categories, advantages, and disadvantages of reporting requirements. Addresses possible issues for Congress when considering specific proposals and changes to GPRAMA process.
