Discusses several types of partnership parks, in which the National Park Service (NPS) owns and/or manages national park units in cooperation with Federal, tribal, State, local, or private partners to help fulfill its land stewardship responsibilities, including parks with a mix of landowners and management partners. Examines NPS assistance to nonfederal land managers in areas outside of the NPS.
