- Summary:
- Amechiyo is an exiled prince who meets the exotic and mysterious Tanuki in the forest and becomes smitten with her beauty. However, he discovers she is actually the Princess Raccoon. The two fall in love, despite everyone's warnings. When tragedy strikes after the celebration of the Princess' un-birthday, only true love can save her. Many elements of traditional Japanese stagecraft are utilized in this film.
