Summarizes provisions of selected proposed legislation that address oil spill policy issues, in light of >Deepwater Horizon</EMPHASIS> explosion and resulting oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Highlights oil spill policy matters concerning prevention, preparedness, response, liability and compensation framework, and Gulf restoration.
