A statistical view of the number of sheep in the several towns and counties in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio : a partial account of the number of sheep in Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, and Kentucky, in 1836, and an account of the principal woolen manufactories in said states : to which is added a short sketch of the introduction of the Merino and Saxony sheep into the United States, and the mode of treatment ursued by some of the principal growers of wool in New England / compiled by C. Benton and S.F. Barry.
