Provides an overview of current EPA authorities to collect registration and maintenance fees to support pesticide regulatory program activities. Reviews background on P.L. 108-199, the Pesticide Registration Improvement Act of 2004 (PRIA), which revised EPA pesticide fee authorities. Summarizes key provisions of P.L. 110-94, the Pesticide Registration Improvement Renewal Act of 2007, which further revised and reauthorized EPA pesticide fee provisions; describes pesticide program fee revenues and appropriations; and reviews pesticide registration and reregistration activities since enactment of PRIA.
