Outlines current progress towards establishment of the National Bio- and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF), to provide DHS with safe, secure, and state-of-the-art agriculture biocontainment laboratories for R&D of diagnostic capabilities and medical countermeasures for foreign animal and zoonotic diseases.
