- Addresses selected issues related to Federal reservoir management during the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint (ACF) drought. Provides brief introduction to ACF river basin water resources and issues, current drought, and the Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) activities to reduce minimum flows for species to reduce the drawdown rate of Federal reservoirs. Discusses how drought affects municipal water supply, and species and ecosystems; assesses how species protection and Corps operations affect one another; and reviews related legislation.
