- Examines Administration proposed Legislative Line Item Veto Act of 2006, to establish an expedited procedure for considering Presidential proposals to cancel certain spending and tax provisions in newly enacted legislation presented to the President by Congress. Considers whether proposed suspension power could be interpreted as an effective grant of Presidential authority to cancel provisions of law that was proscribed by the Supreme Court in Clinton v. City of New York.
