AVGVST THVANVS"); 5 raised, gold-ruled bands on spine; gold-ruled spine panels, one decorative, one with title ("POMP MELA CVM NOT AND SCHOTT"), 1 with title ("ET ET VINETI") and de Thou's IADT monogram, and the rest with de Thou's IADT monogram; all edges gilt.
