- Summary:
- Offers a portrait of life in the outskirts of Barcelona through the intertwining stories of five characters (playing versions of themselves). Raül is a farmer trying to produce organic food. Iurie is a Moldavian wrestler who ekes out a living helping Raül on the farm. Their personal stories develop to intersect with those of three solitary women: elderly Maria who has to leave her life-long country house to live in a retirement home; Rose, a nurse and recent immigrant from the Philippines; and Maribel, an aging prostitute with ever-diminishing clients.
