- Geographical work in 58 chapters describing the physical characteristics and the ecclesiastical and political structures of the Papal States, particularly Rome and the Curia Romana, as of the year 1722. The chapters on the divisions of the Curia Romana include a chapter on the Congregation of the Holy Office (the Inquisition, p. 270-276). A bibliography of 20 works cited or consulted, published between 1625 and 1721, follows the list of chapters (p. xvii-xxi). The work is dedicated to King John V of Portugal (p. i, iii).
