Map of the French Fort Levis on Isle Royale (now Chimney Island near Galop Island in U.S. waters of the St. Lawrence, to the northeast of Chimney Point, near Ogdensburg, N.Y.). The fort is now submerged.
"Section through A.B." in lower left corner shows wall construction and gun emplacement at northeastern perimeter.
"In M[ajor] G[eneral] Amherst's of Octr. 4 1760."--Fragment pasted on lining paper of binding.
