Drawn up by Mawlavī ʿAbd al-Ghaffār as an “Istiftāʼ,” or question for the decision of the ʿUlamāʼ of India. To which are appended the approbations of the principal Mullas of that country, confirming the arguments of Muḥammad Shāh.].
