Notes:
"February 9, 1848: Ordered to be printed. February 17, 1848: Ordered that 10,000 extra copies of each of the Reports of Lieutenant Emory, Captain Cooke, and Lieutenant Abert be printed for the use of the House; and that of said number, 250 copies be furnished for the use of Lieutenant Emory, Captain Cooke, and Lieutenant Abert, respectively."
Published also, without the reports of J.W. Abert and P. St. G. Cooke, and the journal of A.R. Johnston, as Senate Ex. doc. 7, 30th Cong., 1st sess.
Wagner-Camp describes illustrations as "64 plates, 3 plans, and 2 small maps."
