"The Agents' herald" paper, directed specifically at agents, was first issued in Philadelphia in 1877 and ceased publication in 1895 or 1896.
Circular dated December 25, 1878 announcing an increase in the paper's circulation size and subsequent cost increase of its advertising rates.
First line of text: It affords us great pleasure to announce that, hereafter, the Agents' herald will be a 32 page paper, and have a circulation each month of not less than 40,000.
Sheet printed on both sides. Verso of circular notice includes a sample image from the first page of the "Agents' herald" (v. 2, no. 11, November 1878) and another from the advertisement section of the paper.
