Summary:
For the last ten years, Patrice has been living in Digha, a small village on the coast, near Calcutta, in India. He is married to a woman from the village, and he has now three children with whom he speaks only Bengali. He never went back to France. He has no official papers. He has no permanent visa. He has left everything, He is no longer French, He will never be totally Indian. Neither from here nor there, he does occasional odd jobs to survive, while organizing his life on the fringe of society.
