For soprano (doubling bell) with flute (doubling alto flute, piccolo, bell, finger cymbals), clarinet (doubling bass clarinet, sopranino clarinet, bell, finger cymbals, claves), violin (doubling bell), piano (doubling cymbals), string bass (doubling bell), two percussionists, and tape; violin, double bass, piano are amplified by means of contact or air microphones, with sound coming from speaker at front of stage.
