Summary:
Collection (duʻāh) of sūrahs, prayers, devotional readings, and supplications, intended for bringing blessings and warding off evil through repeated reading. Written by the unnamed author for the birth of his named daughter, Sharīfah ʻAdīlah Hanīm. Occasional marginal notes (f. 108v, 126r). A quotation from the Naqshabandīyah Sufi shaykh Barṣā is written, possibly by a later hand, at the top of the first page (f. 1v).

Decoration: Headings, words, and marks between words in red ink in the second half of the manuscript (after f. 64r).
Binding: Possibly contemporary (19th-century) boards with leather spine and flap hinge, but the flap does not fit the text block; Type 2 binding.
Origin: Colophon signed 11 p.m., 15 Rajab 1226 (5 August 1811), the date of birth of the daughter of the compiler (f. 142r).
