Binding: publisher's green cloth; left board has pattern of black spirals and small red dots and leaf-like shapes surrounding central rectangle containing two gilt chrysanthemums and black and green stems and leaves on a red background with winged horse in lower right corner and banderole with title above; spine similarly decorated with gold spirals and black-bordered red leaf-like shapes and gilt chrysanthemums with male figure playing pipes beneath gilt band containing title in green and black; publisher's name in green and black on gold banderole at foot of spine; yellow floral endpapers; all edges gilt.
