17th-century Sanskrit grammarian and commentator who lived in Maharashtra.
Summary:
Manuscript used for consultation or teaching is an arrangement of and commentary on the sūtras of the grammarian Pāṇini. It is part of the text called the Tiṅanta (f. 1-136v) with the first part of the Kṛdanta (f. 136v-169r).

Title from internal colophon (f. 136v).
Written in 8-17 lines per leaf.
169 leaves foliated 1-169, upper left and lower right verso.
Internal colophon: iti bhaṭṭojidīkṣitaviracitāyāṃ siddhāṃtakaumudyāṃ tiṅantaṃ samāptṃ // (f. 136v).
Mistakes covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; significant syllables, words, or phrases highlighted in red throughout; vertical margins marked with double red line at the beginning of the manuscript; there is a floral patterned border on the front cover (f. 1r); border of opening and second folio painted with purple wash.
Part of a sticker and the numbers 5 x 3 on the particle board supporting the manuscript.
