Based on the "Laufás Edda" (Latin translation of 68 fables by Magnús Ólafsson, priest at Laufás) with variants from Stefán Ólaffsson's translation, and Thormoður Torfason's translation, of the remainder, together with an anonymous Danish translation, attributed also to Magnús Ólaffsson. The copy from which the edition was printed was written by Stefán Stefánsson.
