- Son of Kāśī Upādhyāya, grandson of Anujānanta Upādhyāya, great-grandson of Yajñeśvara Upādhyāya according to Ms. Coll. 390, Item 297 (Part 4, f. 69v).
- Summary:
- Manuscript is the second section (pariccheda) of a larger work on matters pertaining to Hindu religious laws and customs (dharma) and is a compendium of various rules and guidelines governing different Hindu rituals, practices, prayers, and observances (vratas); contains descriptions of systems of time and describes the best times of year to perform various rituals, such as the worship (pūjā) associated with specific deities.
