"The illustrations for this book were painted on China silk mounted on illustration board and covered in two coats of gesso. Liquitex acrylic paints, prismacolor, and Derwent colored pencils and pastels were used. The book is set in 16-point ITC Goudy Old Style. The typography is by Lynn Braswell"--Colophon.
