- Summary:
- The discovery of a blonde mummy in storage at a University of California, Berkeley research facility sets off a series of events involving Lily West, a young woman archaeologist, recently returned to Berkeley from Afghanistan. In Afghanistan, Lily had been attacked after receiving the diary of another young woman anthropologist who has since disappeared. In Berkeley, the attacks continue as she assists the police in identifying the mummy and catching the killer.
