- Summary:
- "Kadka originally were battle songs describing the valour of warriors. But, over the centuries, it became song of prayer in the Sufi school of thought, especially in the Dargah of Garib Nawaz or Khwaja Mohin-ud-din Chisti, at Ajmer. The concept revolves around winning the battle over the evil body and the salvation of soul. Qawwals sing these songs every evening and enthuse the atmosphere of spiritual vision. This documentary focuses on the Sufi song tradition, which is regularly sung in the Garib Nawaz Dargah of Aimer."--Container.
