Summary:
Germany is one of the most diverse and beautiful countries in Europe. The land stretches from the Alps to the Baltic Sea and encompasses some truly spectacular scenery; the Bavarian Mountains, the Black Forest and the North German Plain have so much to offer that they hardly seem to be true. But Germany is not just a matter of beautiful scenery and exciting cities. There is also the famous German cuisine. There are delicate Rhine salmon, that may be as good as a Scottish fish, and some truly amazing pates. Nonetheless Germany is still best known for its heavy food. The modern industrial cities of the nation contrast with its wonderful historic heritage, exemplified by the lovely medieval towns tucked away in the forests and mountains. - Publisher.
