Two other issues of 1655 have as printers Officina Elseviriorum, and Apud Ludovicum & Danielem Elzevirios. The present issue was actually printed by Johannes and Daniel Elzevier, though only Johannes is credited on t.p. See Rahir.
Edited by Worm's son Willum, who signed the dedication. See Willems.
Woodcut printer's device on t.p. with motto Non solus. Engraved plates comprise a full-page port. of the author by G. Wingendorp after C. van Mander, and a double-page view of the interior of the author's cabinet by Wingendorp, tipped onto a stub at the centerfold. Of additional in-text ill., 11 are engravings (2 full page), the remainder woodcuts. Head- and tail-pieces, initials.

"M" and "D" of publication date appear in apostrophic form on the t.p.
