Smith copy bound in full contemporary blind-tooled calf over indented wooden boards; 2 metal catch-plates; evidence of 2 leather and metal clasps; 4 raised bands on spine; all edges stippled brown; two small portions of early parchment ms. (written in brown ink in a Gothic bookhand, probably from a liturgical text) used as binder's waste.
