Includes a total of [17] chromolithographed plates, [4] of which were intended record family history of births, deaths, marriages and memoranda.

RBC copy with [4] leaves for recording family history left blank.
RBC copy has typed note laid in at front reading: This family Bible (102 years old) is notable for the beautiful illustrations it contains. The most brilliant colors are preserved in a process not known to present-day printers. At least these pictures have been a marvel to every printer to which they have been shown."
RBC copy in a pebbled sheep binding over wooden boards with a gilt stamped vignette of Moses with tablet surrounded by gilt arabesque and foliate designs within ruled border; board edges and turn ins with gilt roll.
