Local Notes:
Zinman 293 has owner's inscription on front fly-leaf: "Frank W. Hamlin/ 867 Washington St./ Boston/ Mass." First subscription leaf excised, remainder leaves inscribed with numerous Ms. historical and literary notes (dates, events, deaths, identities of literary pseudonyms, etc.) in same hand as owner's inscription.
